At Pediatric Eye Clinic, Dr. Pedro Gómez brings over 25 years of expertise in pediatric optometry, a commitment that’s taken him from the University of Puerto Rico to esteemed roles across the globe. As a respected member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, and a certified Wave Contact Lens designer, Dr. Gómez's passion for advancing eye care is evident. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he's dedicated to enhancing the vision of children and youth in Houston and beyond.

Dr. Claudia V. Contreras, a dedicated Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist, brings her lifelong passion for vision care to Pediatric Eye Clinic. Inspired by her grandmother's experience with ocular health, Dr. Contreras, a native Houstonian with roots in Honduras, has excelled in her field. Graduating Cum Laude from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry, her academic prowess and clinical interests in pediatrics, myopia control, and specialty contact lenses shape her approach to eye care. Outside the clinic, she loves exploring new cuisines, traveling, and family time.
