Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a common vision condition that causes blurred vision. This occurs when the cornea (the clear front part of the eye) is irregularly shaped or sometimes due to the curvature of the lens inside the eye.

Blepharitis

Blepharitis appears when the small oil glands of the inner eyelid become inflamed. It usually occurs along with other skin conditions or allergies.

Amblyopia

Amblyopia appears in early childhood. When the nerve pathways between the brain and one of the eyes are not properly stimulated, the brain favors the other eye.

Dry Eye

Dry eye or dry eye syndrome is a common eye disorder that occurs when there is a lack of lubrication and wetting of the surface of the eye (cornea, conjunctiva, and tear film). This occurs because the eye does not produce the necessary amount of tears to maintain good hydration and lubrication, or the tears are of poor quality.

Myopia

Myopia is a refractive problem that occurs when the patient perceives distant objects blurred.

Some of the conditions we serve

The conditions that can affect your vision are many, from Blepharitis, Amblyopia and Dry Eye, to Astigmatism and Myopia among other conditions.

Chalazion

A chalazion is a lump that forms on the upper or lower eyelid. It appears as a result of an accumulation of fat secretion in the meibomian glands. These glands are located on the edge of the eyelids.

Foreign Bodies

Intraocular foreign bodies are present in up to 41 percent of all open globe injuries. While foreign objects can be made of almost any substance, most are metal, as most patients are injured while wielding a hammer.

Red Eye

Redness of the eye can be due to various conditions and injuries that cause irritation, presence of blood inside the eye, or congestion of the blood vessels.

Concusion Ocular

It is the attack on the eyeball from an external force source that does not break the integrity of the external walls, but can affect internal structures and visual function temporarily or indefinitely.

More than 11 years of experience in the control of myopia, Ortho-K, irregular corneas and special contact lenses for children and adults.
